My story starts with an english Setter puppy who's name is"CHAMP." Champ was not like my Black Labs. He was more like a Tasmanian Devil, and my wife told me I better not bring home another dog, so you can understand my predicament.Thankfull, I was introduced to Gerry Woelfel. Champ went out to visit Gerry for two weeks, and I went to visit Champ every four to five days. I could not believe what Gerry was able to do with Champ in just one week let alone two. Gerry was very gentle in his training and the results were fantastic. Thanks to Gerry, I have a dog that is very obedient and is becoming a superb hunter. And it is because of Gerry's outstanding ability to train hunting dogs. I have known Gerry for a little over a year now and continue to bring Champ back for well needed ajustments and thanks to Gerry, Champ continues to excel. I highly recommend Gerry for anyone who wants a very well trained hunting dog.

"Baxter"
Gerry has been such a blessing to my family and dog. Gerry did obedience training on my dog when he was 4 years old. Baxter had been trained, but I found out he had very little training compared to what Gerry accomplished in one week. The real benefit, as I found out later, is that he was training my dog, me and my 10 year old daughter, not an easy program. If you think that just the dog needs help, go out with Gerry. He is gentle with both dogs and people but expects excellence. Baxter has become an excellent hunting dog because of Gerry's help. He kept the price reasonable, so we can continue training. I cannot recommend anyone more highly than Gerry.

Gerry is an incredible trainer who has enabled me to compete in NSTRA and utilize my dogs guiding clients for pheasant and chukar hunts. His ability to read dogs lets him advance their training at the pace that is suitable for each individual dog. Due to a hip replacement surgery, I was unable to attend the Endurance classic in Montana. Gerry handled my English Setter bitch to the final sixteen out of one hundred and twenty-six dogs. What an accomplishment for a weekend trial dog. Gerry is currently helping to train my two youngest hunting dogs. Thank you Gerry for your time, knowledge and unfailing dedication to nurturing every dog and owner, allowing them to enjoy many years of competition and companionship.
